this is a device that I think could have helped me avoid at least two of those three mishaps. After all, this little device could shave off .25 seconds from a driver's reaction time, and that translates into 20 feet of stopping distance at 60 mph. ...sounds like a good deal to me

Sudden Stop would have probably prevented the accident
I have been involved in more than one rear-end collision since I started driving years ago. In the one where I struck the other driver, I didn’t notice that he had hit his brakes hard until it was too late. Something like the Sudden Stop would have probably prevented the accident.

Seriously, this is a good idea...
This extra warning could seriously reduce the likelihood of accidents, since it might give drivers just a little more advance warning that something is wrong in front of them.

Although our cars have gotten safer, our drivers haven’t...
This is a simple and in-expensive device that requires no wiring to work. You just remove the screws from your license plate, put this
under the plate, then screw it back in. It just “knows” when you’ve suddenly stopped and it flashes with long-
use LED lights.

Drivers who want added protection against rear-end crashes may be interested in Sudden Stop.
Using a screwdriver, I installed Sudden Stop on my car and took it for a spin. It worked as advertised. The lights flashed when I
slammed on the brakes at 30 mph or faster, but didn’t turn on during routine stops, or while swerving or driving over bumps.
